There are 2 types of fabrics used for making The Collections. Cotton and Silk. Kimono cotton is top seller because of the vibrant colours and immense details on the prints. It’s also durable and easy to maintain. Kimono silk are delicate but gorgeous. They are vintage and are cut open from unsold kimonos, such as Chirimen, Rinzu, Tumugi and Haori kimonos. Each design will be made into one or two pieces of bags. Customers appreciate that their bag is one of a kind. Due to high demand, there will be new fabrics every 2-3 weeks.
The business was started with the love of beautiful cotton fabrics. Combining that with the love of pretty girl accessories, the Collections simply turned out gorgeous. Silk fabric was recently introduced to the Collections and was a Hit! With the wide variety of fabrics and frames to choose from, there is a perfect bag for each customer.
On average, each bag will take about 3 hours to complete. It is handmade from start to finish. The process starts from cutting of fabrics, followed by ironing, sewing and stitching. Each handbag is unique and different although it’s cut from the same fabric. None will look identical.
